A Little about Me.

{EAV_BLOG_VER:0a666d813c1d8604}

Hello everyone! My name is Edward Voss (27), and for the past few years I have worked as a substitute teacher in the SF Bay Area. After not having been in school for so long I decided that I wanted to have my own classroom and my own set of students with regularity, so I signed up for a master's degree in secondary education. at the University of Phoenix. I'm going to be an English teacher.

I received my bachelor of arts in modern literary studies from the University of California at Santa Cruz, aka UCSC, class of 2008. Go Slugs! Before that I grew up and went to school in San Jose, California. Reading and writing have long been my passions. Teaching comes naturally as a career choice. I am very patient and understanding with other people so long as they are not my parents. If there's something you don't understand then I will do my best to explain it to you two or three different ways. School always came easy for me, so it's all I can do to give back to students these days.

As for the program! Well, today we had the last meeting for the first real course. Last night we frantically typed away at individual and group paper contributions as well as a PowerPoint presentation (nailed it!) Next week we go back for the beginning of our next course. Things come fast and furious here at Phoenix. For the time being I'm looking to relax this weekend and see some friends.

If you have any questions for me, please don't hesitate to ask!
